Mention @White Shoe AI in any channel to get a public, threaded response the whole team can see. Attach a .docx for redlining, or request a repository search — files are uploaded right back into the thread.

Right-click → Ask White Shoe
Right-click any message and select Ask White Shoe from the context menu. The bot analyzes the message privately — if it's in a thread, the full thread is used for context. No typing, no commands — just right-click and go.

Install the Slack bot
An admin navigates to Settings > Integrations in White Shoe, clicks Install Slack Bot, and approves permissions for the workspace. Takes about 30 seconds.
Ask a question — any way you like
Use /whiteshoe for private answers, @White Shoe AI for public threads, or right-click any message and select Ask White Shoe. Attach a .docx for redlining, or ask it to search your document repository.
Get answers in context
Responses appear right in Slack — in your thread, your DM, or as an ephemeral message only you can see. Redlined documents and source files are uploaded directly into the conversation.

Enable your entire Slack workspace to search and archive documents — even team members who don't have individual White Shoe accounts. An admin flips one toggle in Settings > Integrations, and anyone on the same email domain can start using repository search and document archival immediately.
